Hey, I love starring in my own movie and not having to show my face. This is a short one but fun and full of info, just like our show!

We at thinktalkLAF believe it is important that you laugh in 2013. So as ya go forth in this New Year, make sure laughter is part of your plan. Regarding eating, if you're a meaty meat eater, know what you eat ate! If you're a veggie, know what what you eat was fed as well! Food for thought!

Great Show Sunday and even greater Guests and Callers. There is a lot we don't know out there in the big bad world of technology and EMS. Sunnie, thanks for giving us a look into a brighter future for digital communication to prevent or make better calls to EMS and their outcomes once you reach the emergency room. Richard, Marilyn, Jewan (SP?) thanks for listening and asking great questions that plague many with there lack of informed answers. Together, we'll ask the questions and find the answers through this maze of a healthcare system. Keep tunin' in!

EMT, EMS, ALS, ICE and 911

Yep and we will try to get to the highs and lows; ins and outs of all this. Fear not, it is all good and all about getting the best out of our Healthcare system (including the ride there). I personally have had to use the EMS 5 times this year and was grateful each time for their help. I am 58. When MY DAD was 78 he drove himself to the hospital during a heart attack. Is it the gender thing that makes the difference OR is it the fear that older people have of 911, 911, 911!!!???? We will talk about this 1/6/13 on Think Talk LAF and the hows, whys, whens, who's and more. Tune in and tell us of your experiences. Thanks

EAT ME!

Hey, The next 2 weeks we are talking about surviving Holiday dinners from a multi-cultural, multi-generational standpoint and then the inevitable New Year's resolution. At our home in the past, there was always the 300 year old coveted egg-nog recipe (with Rum and raw egg), buttery Christmas cookies, Turkeys, ham, potatoes and everyone gobble-gobbled. There was not a salad or simple veggie in sight. Luckily my family was either nervous, energetic or athletic and we could lose 5 lbs by just standing up. Those were the days. Now lbs packed on stay on UGH! I now have issues with Casein and my friends and family are going down the Gluten free path! I am seriously thinking of having food content labels by each dish. NOT with all ingredients but just saying EAT ME, I am cheese-less!

oink, oink

tis the season.

Gobble, gobble, ho, ho, ho or in America OINK, OINK. Just remember that the only "real" food I can think of that colors your tongue on the way in and the other stuff on the way out is beets. Any other Holiday colored, festivity oriented, Fatty fun food may not be the best for you no matter how pretty!!!! Fa la la

So, just for fun please share with me the pretty colored festivity foods that make you turn funny colored on the inside and FAT on the outside....... I promise I won't share this info with a soul......
